UCLA Encyclopedia of Egyptology

The UCLA Encyclopedia of Egyptology (UEE) is a scholar-driven publishing initiative that will create a full, online encyclopedia over the period of several years (circa 2004-2014). The peer-reviewed articles of the UEE are written by the world's leading scholars. Articles are first published online at the University of California’s eScholarship website, and are listed at http://repositories.cdlib.org/nelc/uee/ and will later be made available through a Full Version with enhanced searching, browsing, and contextualization.

The UCLA Digital Library Program is a partner in this project and will provide the long-term digital asset management and preservation services related to the creation and continuing access to this new rich resource. This project has been funded in part by the National Endowment for the Humanities.

Information on the development of the UEE Full Version can be found at http://www.uee.ucla.edu.
